Etudes Stakeholders Team
Colleagues:
You are receiving this email because you were nominated or volunteered to serve on the ETUDES Stakeholders Team (Tools Team). If you believe that you are receiving this message in error, please let me know.
Our first meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 27, 2005, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Krause Center for Innovation, Room 4006, Foothill College. For information maps, lodging, and to REGISTER, go to:

Michael Loceff, founder and original architect of ETUDES, and I will co-chair the team. At this meeting, we will evaluate the preliminary data from the spring pilot, review gaps between ETUDES and NG, identify migration needs, and prioritize new and remaining development work (i.e. Melete) to be undertaken in 2005-06.
OVERVIEW OF THE STAKEHOLDERS TEAM'S ROLE:
The stakeholders' team will meet twice a year, or more if needed, to prioritize feature requests, identify requirements, and guide our development work based on the needs of the users. The team is comprised of a representative from each ETUDES Alliance member, plus a representative from the individual membership. This inclusive process has been established to allow each partner to bring to the table their local campus needs and have input (and a vote) in future tools development and enhancements of ETUDES-NG.
* The commitment for serving on the Stakeholders Team is two years and is renewable.
* Institutions must cover their member's travel expenses.
* The developers will also serve on the team (non-voting members).
* There is no obligation for ETUDES Alliance institutional
members to have a representative, but it is a great vehicle to
give input on future tools
development.
* Members must be present to vote.
I will notify faculty who are participating in the pilot to
contact you with their input so that you can represent their wishes
and concerns at the meeting.
Thank you in advance for your participation in this community
effort.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the meeting at the end of the month.
Best regards,
Vivie
